Judy Goldberg - Next Action Associates

When Judy discovered the GTD® way, her life changed overnight. Though a fan of lists and pretty organised on the surface, she quickly recognised the opportunity to apply what she had learnt to the ‘piles’ in her mind and the ‘stuff’ in her cabinets at work and at home. After putting her own system in place and becoming certified, she went on to deliver GTD® Fundamentals to employees in 12 countries around the world in two years.

With over two decades experience in designing and facilitating development programmes, organising international events, and working in diverse environments, Judy combines the tools and knowledge she has collected with the GTD® methodology to shift the emphasis with her clients from “where are you now?” to “where do you want to be?”

Judy started her career in Education in Maryland public schools and then relocated to an International School in Costa Rica. She then moved into the hospitality industry to sail the high seas as one of the first Training & Development Officers for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Back on land, Judy joined Discovery Communications where she spent ten years, first in the US and then in London to set up and lead the international Learning & Development function for Discovery Networks International. She most recently spent a year as the Executive Director of Leadership & Organisation Development at Sony Pictures Entertainment in London.

Judy speaks at conferences regularly, and serves as a trustee for the Drive Forward Foundation. To feed her passions she talks to strangers, seeks out street art, practices hot yoga, and loves to learn about our amazing and mysterious brain.
