A two-day Workflow Coaching programme (with follow-up sessions) proved transformative.

The Getting Things Done methodology, and in particular of Next Action Associates, have been a huge help to me. I first contacted Next Action in 2013, at the recommendation of a colleague. At that time I was struggling to make sense of an increasingly demanding academic workload, and to cope with an diverse range of commitments outside my academic work. My previous attempts to develop a systematic approach had repeatedly foundered.
A two-day Workflow Coaching programme (with follow-up sessions) proved transformative. I found that the GTD system met my needs for both structure and flexibility. The bespoke nature of the programme allowed me to develop systems which fitted my working preferences rather than requiring me to conform to a rigid external framework.
Like learning a musical instrument, getting better and handling my workflow has required sustained application, motivation and patience. Although the system itself is both practical and intuitive, customising it for my own work needed an expert tutor.
